Dancing without Cloris!!

I just have to say I am so happy that dear Cloris is off the show!! Yay! Now we just need to lose Erika... I can't remember her real name! She is like a puppet! Stiff and always waiting to see what her partner needs her to do!! Show some passion!! Hopefully she's the next to leave!! Go Warren!!

Candy Candy and more Candy!

My favorite Halloween candy... I can't even pick one!!! I love candy. I've been so good at not having any candy in the house and now I have TONS! Ahhhh! I love Baby Ruth's, Reese's anything, KitKats, M&M's.... It's all good. I keep trying to give our candy away at the Trunk-or-Treat's we've been to, but somehow we come home with MORE candy!! I have been letting my kids eat as much as they want and hoping that they pick all my favorites and leave the stuff that I just don't want behind so I'm not tempted!! They have been a bit more hyper... but no tummy aches yet! What do you do with all your Halloween candy!! Do you just give in and eat it? (I really want to!) Do you have any favorites? Just trying to keep my fingers busy... so they don't wander to the kitchen and the candy bowl!!

My New Fave!!

Chris took me to dinner on Friday night. We went to PF Chang's. Wow!! It was AWESOME!!! I don't know how we missed out on this fantastic restaurant!! We'd never been, but I'd heard that the Lettuce Wraps were good. Man. They were soooooo good! Then we got their Crab Wontons....mmmmm! I ordered the Black Bean Chicken with brown rice. It was amazing. Their food is so fresh and it just tastes sooooo good! They must put an addictive chemical in there that makes you crave it nightly! :) Chris ordered his old standby - Sweet and Sour Chicken - and I've never tasted a better one! Wow. So, If you have not discovered the heaven on earth that is PF Chang's... I strongly suggest you get out there and try them!!! It is even worth driving for miles and miles for!! YUMMY!!! It's definitely my new favorite restaurant! The best part is that I have tons of leftovers and I'm going to enjoy them, savor them and hope that they will keep me satisfied until our next trip...

Cutest!

My sister, Rebecca, always sends me the cutest cards!!! She inspires me! I think I'm going to be stampin' all day tomorrow! I got the cutest Halloween stamp set and I am just itching to try it out! Check your mailboxes... One may be headed your way! 

Chocolate!!

Chris found me some Candy Corn Hershey kisses at Walgreens and I must say that they are the most delicious things!! Wow! We also tried the Pumpkin Spice kisses and the Caramel kisses... MMMMM! I think the Pumpkin Spice ones taste just like pumpkin pie. They are not lasting long here at our house. I have them out in a cute little pumpkin jar and they are going quickly. (And not all to my hips!) You really must try them if you get the chance!! MMM!!

Daisy!!

Angie Daisy came to visit me!!! She is so adorable! This top picture is us at the Mellow Mushroom. Aren't we so cute!! I especially love Jillian's little face! 

The above picture of me and Angie was taken on May 8, 2004.  We haven't changed too terribly much... I just lost all that weight - go me! She looks just exactly as I remember - tall and gorgeous!

I love this chick! She is awesome!!! We have been friends since 1994 when we both met at UVSC (Utah Valley State College). We had a blast there and I am so lucky that we met then and have kept in touch through the years. She is a truly amazing mommie. She has the greatest personality. She is so full of life and spunk.

She came out to Georgia to visit her little brother and stopped in to have lunch and visit with me. It was one of the most fun days I've had since moving out to this wretched place! When she called to tell me she was coming I nearly burst with excitement!! We had a great time at the Mellow Mushroom. That place has THE most awesome pizza and it's a great atmosphere. It was so fun to catch up with her and her mother. I also got to meet little Reyn. What a cutie!! Thanks for coming to see me!!!

Went VT Today...

Ok. So. I went visiting teaching today. (Yay me!) We went to see 2 of the 4 sisters we visit. I love the sisters we were assigned to visit. They are awesome and really inspire me. I also have a great companion. Well. The lesson this month is on gender and its role in our lives. I read ALL of the quotes from the lesson in the Ensign because they are ALL wonderful and then we started to discuss the topic. Well, it came up that my partner's son has issues with wanting to be very girly. He LOVES to wear dresses from his older sister's dress-up box and is obsessed with princesses and looking pretty. She expressed how worried she is that he will grow up and be challenged as far as his role as a male. I told her not to worry because he's only 3 and I'm sure it's just a phase he's going through. Well, the sister we were visiting did not agree. I guess she's had several family members struggle with these issues and said that it all started at a young age. I could see where she was coming from, but I have had no experience with this in my family (luckily!) and just felt kind of at a loss to help her. The sister advised my partner to take her problem to the Lord and to fast and pray about what she should do. It was rather amazing. I always hear about those moments in little stories that people share in sacrament meeting or whatnot, but I'd never been present for one. I hope that she really does take it to the Lord. It's obviously something that is really worrying her. I know Jeremiah liked playing with all Jessi's toys and such but he's definitely a boy and loves all the things that go along with that. Anyhoo... I just thought I'd share my little VT moment. It was touching and very cool.

Dancing!

I love seeing all the glittery, sparkly, flowy concoctions that the dancers wear on Dancing with The Stars! I love how the light catches on all the sequins! So pretty! What I don't love is all the skin in between all the sparkles! Wow. I am always so nervous that things are going to shift and we may get an eyeful! Seriously. I don't think that they should all wear turtlenecks and leggings... but couldn't they cover up just a tidge bit more!?
Did they have to play that "kissed a girl" song??? I avoid that song like the plague! It always gets stuck in my head and then I'll catch myself singing it with little Jilli around - the sponge! I know she's going to start singing it at the top of her lungs during sacrament meeting on Sunday! AHHHHHH!
I think Dancing with the Stars has gone a little bit raunchy this year. I'm not very impressed and as much as I love it... I may just have to leave it!!
